Holiday Detour at West Town Mall
Beginning Friday, November 28, KAT buses will operate on detour routing around West Town Mall. This detour will affect both Route 11 Kingston Pike and Route 90 Crosstown. Route Change Proposal for Route 10
The KTA board recently heard a proposal and public comments for a change in service to Route 10: Sequoyah. The board voted for an option that will allow Route 10 to operate only during weekday peak service times, focused on service between Keowee/Kenesaw and the University of Tennesee (and possibly Knoxville Station). This will provide additional resources that may be used for other service requests and needs such as extended hours on neighborhood routes. These potential changes will be brought to the board in February 2015 for a May 2015 implementation. Public comment will be invited on the new proposal.
