UT
KAT and The University of Tennessee have a strong partnership in providing transportation throughout the campus as well as the community. "The T" is The University of Tennessee Transportation System, operated by KAT. The basic T routes include East-West, North-South, Ag Express and Late Nite. In addition, the T: Access provides service for persons with disabilities and the T: Link transports students traveling late at night to the Late Nite bus or to their destination.
For more information on the T services and schedules, visit www.RideTheT.com.
KAT also offers a number of routes to and from campus to connect commuter students, faculty, and staff. More than 10 bus and trolley routes travel to and through campus, replacing an estimated 600 cars from campus traffic each day. The KAT/UT partnership also encourages members of the university community to use the regular KAT system rather than driving alone. UT semester passes offer unlimited rides at a discounted rate of $50. Passes are available at UT's Central Ticket Office.
